How to clean the shower

The drips that remain when we’re in a hurry can leave stains and limescale smears.
To remove them, simply spray the shower cubicle with a 50-50 mixture of water and white vinegar, leave on for a few minutes and dry with a wiper blade and polish with a (preferably anti-static) cloth.

To clean the tiles, just add a few drops of washing-up liquid or Marseilles soap (the ‘greener’ the better) to the water-white vinegar mixture, mix and spray onto the tiles, rub with a non-abrasive sponge, rinse with warm water and dry with a dry cloth. 

How to clean the grout between the tiles!

The grout between the tiles often causes the greatest grief, but keeping it clean is quite simple. 
Equip yourself with a toothbrush, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Wet the powder with a few drops, dip in the toothbrush and rub along the grout between the tiles. With a little elbow grease, it’ll be good as new. 

Another unbeatable tool for cleaning the bathroom is steam.
If you have a steam appliance, go over the surface and the grouting with a steam jet before traditional cleaning, and you will be assured an impeccable result and a deep-down sanitising action.
