FAP Ceramiche presents Frozen Forest

Featured at ALCOVA from 7 to 13 April
Milan Design Week and Fuorisalone 2025

One of the most fascinating Fuorisalone projects: ALCOVA, conceived by Valentina Ciuffi and Joseph Grima for the selected avant-garde offerings and locations.

Fuorisalone 2025

Fuorisalone has become the heart of Milan’s design week, considered the most important event of the year for the design industry.
Exhibitions and events take place across the city and beyond its borders, occupying the most attractive locations.
While Fuorisalone itself is one of Milano Design Week’s top attractions, Alcova is one Fuorisalone’s most innovative platforms, an independent, experimental “cutting-edge design space”. Just the place for FAP!

ALCOVA Design District

From 7 to 13 April, we look forward to seeing you at ALCOVA, at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, Varedo.
A magnificent eighteenth-century country house, surrounded by gardens in the Italian and English styles, with a succession of large saloons and more intimate interiors.

This is where we will be presenting the "FAP X ALCOVA” project.
A site-specific installation located in a splendid first-floor saloon with large windows open onto the landscape, granting entry to generous flows of daylight and a breeze that caresses the visitor.

FAP X ALCOVA

FAP X ALCOVA is an exciting, inspiring immersive experience: every visitor chooses their own path through the installation, structured on three levels as both an exhibit and a concept.

The context showcases the installation very effectively, flooding it with natural light, while the installation captures the period appeal of the location, emphasising its beauty through an interplay of reflections...
The antique and the contemporary touch, dialogue and merge to generate fresh visions and impressions. Here’s a small spoiler...

Frozen Forest by FAP!

The FAP X ALCOVA installation is entitled "Frozen Forest" and showcases new, extremely high-tech products with an almost magical allure: Mirror Fade and Total Mirror.

Slabs that look like mirrors but are made from porcelain stoneware, a tough, high-performing material that is gradually reaching beyond its limits, seemingly evolving into a different substance...

As in a frozen forest, the reflective surfaces of Mirror Fade and Total Mirror become a filter between reality and reflection, bridging physical and virtual space.
The installation establishes a perfect dialogue with its context through its skilful use of mirrors, which amplify light, expand perspectives, and redefine the perception of the setting.

Come and be amazed!
