A simple product with sophisticated aesthetics. Where do FAP’s graphics and patterns come from?

We talk to Product Manager Alessandra Carboni to learn more about FAP Ceramiche’s creative process.

“Our goal is to make something that stirs emotions, something that offers endless possibilities - a pattern or colour that can create warm atmospheres, something truly amazing. We achieve this through research and by observing what is happening in the world of architecture, the arts and current trends.”
Alessandra Carboni, FAP Product Manager

FAP’s graphics, patterns and colours allow us to process and filter all of this visually.

“We want our products to elicit feelings of well-being and emotion.
Our goal is to ensure that they possess a soul and an instantly recognisable aesthetic quality. This is achieved by infusing our products with an “emotional filter” - a unique colour palette, where even tones like Beige or Tortora are transformed into warm hues, and specially interpreted decors: large-scale, blurred, yet always recognisable, welcoming and visually striking.”

In the FAP style!

Everyone in the FAP teams is working towards the same goal.
“We speak a ‘common’ language and look for ideas that evoke emotions, warmth and possibilities that we want to share! Everyone contributes to the creation of a product that is firmly rooted in the past while embodying a language that interprets the future.”

What inspired the new collection?

“Inspirations for new collections can come from a diverse array of sources, such as a photo, a leaf, a flower, a particular structure, a swatch of fabric, wood, cork, an antique ceramic, or the craftsmanship of an artisan. The possibilities are abundant, providing a multitude of creative “starting points.”
Transforming inspirations into reality is not an easy task, but you can succeed if you have the same goals: love of colour, décor, nature… and they can be achieved thanks to the excellence of FAP’s supply chain, craftsmanship, designers and artisans.”

FAP Ceramiche’s tiles embellish, decorate, solve and become the focal point of interior decor.

An increasingly obvious choice in your collections?

"When you fall in love with a ceramic project, it’s nice to be able to extend it to other surfaces that aren’t just walls and floors, and to cover surfaces that, typically, are clad with other materials, with the advantage that stoneware and ceramic are extremely resistant, easy to clean and hygienic.”

“So a simple shower enclosure can be transformed into a cascade of flowers or a tropical forest, becoming a unique furnishing item that completely alters the look of the environment.”
